The SKX series GMT SSK036K1 Mocha colour scheme features a black dial, and black bezel. The bezel has a gold colour plating designed to match the gold colour accents throughout the hands and indices.
First released in the 90s, the SKX Seiko 5 Sports watches were a modernised version of the classics – updating the reliability and durability of the 1960s originals. The 90s collection offered improved practicality – enhanced water resistance, strengthened crystals along with luminous hands and hour markers.
The black tone 24-hour bezel is coated in Hardlex, to ensure durability while the GMT hand improves practicality, visibility and legibility. The SSK036K features a brown stitched leather strap with a pin buckle. Designed for practical international timekeeping, the GMT hand and high visibility hour markers, along with clear 24-hour bezel, mean multiple time zone calculations can be made at a glance, quickly and easily.
The SSK036 is powered by the Seiko 4R34 automatic with manual winding movement with an approximate power reserve of 41 hours. The 4R34 movement is Automatic with manual winding and features 24 Jewels. This movement has a daily time tolerance of -35 / +45 seconds per day.
The case size of the SSK036K1 is 42.5mm with thickness of 13.5mm and a lug width of 22mm. The lug-to-lug size of the SSK036K is 46mm. The SSK036K features a see-through case back, screw case back and a rotating bezel. The hands and indices are coated in LumiBrite – fluorescent luminous paint which quickly absorbs light energy, glowing brighter and longer in partial light. LumiBrite starts glowing brightly in the dark and fades slowly.
