It dates back to the second half of the 19th century, when young Leon Breitling in the Swiss town of St-Imier opened a workshop for the production of movements. Development and progress culminated in the creation of the first IN-HOUSE caliber 01. It has a 3-day power reserve, a high-precision chronograph and a 5-year warranty. Made and assembled by 100% IN-HOUSE in the newly built Breitling Chronometry plant in La Chaux-de-Fonds. The new clockwork immediately pulled the attention of both the professional and the lay public, putting the professional 01 into the top ten world chronographs.
